Time Tracer

Specialty

As a Time Tracer, Add obtains new temporal and spatial manipulation techniques in order to take control of any battle and regain the peaceful days of his past. He is able to bombard opponents with spatial energy and gravity at will and travel through time to resurrect himself and teammates. Defeat any foes who dare to stand in your path with the power of time and space!

Background

"Finally.. It's finally complete!!

After tremendous effort, Add finally completed the time travel equation, however, he realizes that he needs a certain substance to apply this time travel formula into his Dynamos.
While wondering for a while not knowing what to do next, Add eventually concludes through his Dynamo's calculations that he can extract the ingredient he needed from a special mineral that the Ponggos possessed.

"Ah! You can't take that pong! That's important research material pong!!

Using the substance he stole from the Ponggos, Add extracts it and succeeds in applying the ability to jump through time and space through his Dynamos.

"Kukukuk!! Now, I'll take back everything!! Kuhahak!!

Having gained the power to move freely through time and space, Add proclaims himself as the "Time Tracer," and continues his journey to find an energy source that will allow him to better calculate his time-space errors.

First Class Advancement

After completing the Tracer quest chain, Add can decide between advancing as a Psychic Tracer, an Arc Tracer, or a Time Tracer.
Time Tracer can also be obtained by using the Cash Shop item: Time Harddisk

Time Tracer

  1. Talk to Hoffman.
  2. Collect Banthus' Hair from 2-3 on any difficulty.
  3. Collect 2 Nasod Safeguard from 2-5 on Very Hard.
  4. Talk to Echo.

At Lv35, a Time Tracer can advance into a Diabolic Esper.

Dimensional Sparks (Nasod Armor Combo)

After Nasod Armor Mode - Overlimit is activated, Add repeatedly attacks by releasing dimensional energy from his dynamos, finally scrambling his dynamos to release dimensional energy that hits all surrounding enemies.

Spatial Blitz (Nasod Armor Combo)

After Nasod Armor Mode - Overlimit is activated, Add opens a dimension gate underneath them to launch enemies upwards. He then opens another dimension gate and rushes forward, restraining enemies and repeatedly attacking them with spatial energy.

Spatial Pull

Add send his dynamos towards the ground around the target's feet and lifts them up. He then creates a dimension gate and pull them toward him. This combo can be used to activate his Nasod Armor combos.

Trivia

  • Time Tracer wears an eyepatch over one of his eyes, which is covered by his hand in his portrait.
    • For unknown reasons, he has scratches on the other side of his face.
  • Time Tracer and Dimension Witch are the only classes capable of manipulating time and space.
  • Unlike other first job classes, Time Tracer's job change backstory involves materials from Altera, where the Ponggos he stole from live, although the quest itself involves materials from Elder.
  • After advancing to Time Tracer, Add's character selection screen quote changes to match his new personality.
  • After advancing to Time Tracer, Add made it his goal to travel back to his original time to prevent his family's death.
