Background

Ara trained endlessly with straight and good-hearted will to finally reach the ultimate level of spearmanship. With her experiences with encountering many evil-doers, Ara gained the insight to see through those with malicious intent.

As she met many evil-doers, Ara matured as a martial artist and gained insight to see through those with malicious intent.

Even though she looks delicate and soft-hearted, as the ultimate martial artist, she can shake the earth with her mighty spear.

"This is my full strength!"

When Ara uses her spear, she now attacks as if she foresees every move, and enemies simply fall prey to her attacks.

Trivia

  • Apsara is a female spirit of the clouds and waters in Hindu and Buddhist culture.
  • In the Korean server, Apsara is referred to as 비천 (毘天), which could be translated as Aide of the Heavens but technically doesn't mean anything on its own. Instead, as with Sakra Devanam before, it is the abbreviation of 毘沙門天, or Vaiśravaṇa, hence this class being denoted with a V on the smaller icon.
    • Vaiśravaṇa is the name of one of the Four Heavenly Kings and is considered an important figure in Japanese Buddhism.
  • On the Japanese server, Apsara is instead referred to as 飛天, referring to the angels of heaven, often depicted as a wingless flying woman surrounding Buddhist statues.
  • Apsara's idle pose is very reminiscent to Elemental Master's old idle pose.
  • In Apsara's portrait a floating scarf can be seen behind her, it is an East Asian symbol often used to show divinity.
