- Holding the skill will allow Elsword to hold his counter stance up to 5 seconds.
- Holding the skill does not cost any MP but is not indefinite, unlike Guard.
- The counter will not actually negate melee damage, but will still perform a counter attack.
- Despite being called Magic Counter, it can counter physical attacks as well.
- A successful counter will generate an additional rune upon unlocking the New Heights passive.
