The explosion reaches roughly half the screen and two platforms above and below the spirit balls' center.
The spirit ball does not carry enemies up with it, so smaller enemies may not take all hits.
Only your casting animation is affected by action speed.

The use of the energy of the earth is a reference to how Gaia is the El Master of Earth.
The skill's Korean name derives from 花間蝶舞, which translates more or less to "Butterflies dancing between flowers", which references both Devi's butterfly theme and Gaia's earth theme.
