Dialogue

  • Raven: I was once the Captain of the Crow Mercenary Knights. I worked hard to protect the Kingdom of Velder and in return they betrayed me.

  • Raven: I was framed and sentenced to death by someone I had trust, Owen. He was like a brother to me.

  • Raven: My fiance Seris and comrades raided the prison the day before my scheduled execution and busted me out. Finally... Seris and I were going to get married.
  • Raven: But one can only dream for so long... We escaped but Velder soldiers followed us into the forest outskirts.

  • Raven: We were outnumber and surrounded in the forest at midnight. Everything I cared and loved was slowly taken away one by one.
  • Raven: Owen made sure I was the last to die. They slaughtered my comrades and my love right in front of my very own eyes. The only thing left for me was to die.

  • Raven: At my very last breath, the Nasods found me and dragged me off.
  • Raven: Next thing I know, I wake up in a Nasod capsule and my body was half-machine. I was reborn into a test subject for Human-Nasod augmentation.

  • Raven: Death would have been better for me than this. I wanted to kill them but the Nasod Control Device over took my consciousness.

  • On the NA server, the prologue dialogue refers to Owen as Alex instead. This is not the case on any other server, where the character was not given a name at all until the release of Raven's side story A Piece of Memory.
    • On the NA server, he is only ever called Alex in the text of said prologue. The NA dub does not mention a name at all.
