The explosion launches enemies in random directions. You can use or to catch them, but it requires knowing where they'll land.
In PvP, if the enemies reach 0 HP, they will be launched upwards instead of being pulled in. This also applies to other skills that both launch and pulls in enemies, such as Ruin.
The skill is affected by the Free Training hit count error, with the Explosion dealing 4 hits instead of 5.
