Description
I need something to make me stronger. After Wally ran away in Elder, Elsword thought about the power he wished to pursue. The sword technique that he knew was not that helpful as he was running away. Perhaps he would find his answer in this new place. He sees Bethma Village through the valley.
Elsword is sick of his enemies running away, and being taken by surprise is no excuse. What he needs is a technique useful in real battle. Even if it diverges from the traditional path, he needs a way to surely win against his enemies. Though he's not sure how this would work yet, he might get a better idea through battle.
Facing against multiple enemies with one sword is not easy. Maybe using both arms, or using more swords would help dealing with more situations? Before his idea fades away, a strange voice echoed inside his head. 'I hear a voice yearning for power within you.' The voice was coming from an unclaimed box that they found in the bandit's hideout. Let's ask Bethma Alchemist Chacha Buch about these phenomena.
Chacha Buch explains this is the legendary Conwell's box. If he uses this special box that changes shape depending on the user's will, it should be possible to actually try out the battle methods he thought about earlier. Conwell says your mind is finally strong enough to talk to it, but you still need to prove your worth in order to use its power. Let's defeat the enemies at Dragon Nest and prove your worth.
is reworked; summoning a sword and slash twice instead of a single slash. Combo is extended after that to repeatedly slash forward in Super Armor, ending it with a final slash. Alternatively, pressing mid-combo will end the slashes with a upward slash that launches enemies.
Slices done by the Conwell can also hit behind Elsword as well.
The class name "Sheath Knight" derives from the new weapon Conwell, which is a sheath that grants the user the ability to summon physical swords through a magic sigil as shown in his skills.
Despite this the sigil doesn't appear during combos or actives.
Elsword does not physically carry the Conwell, rather he is able to summon it through the magic sigil, as seen in several of this paths combos where he pull or throw swords from the sheath.
It is unknown why Elsword's pupils darken as Sheath Knight compared to his base class and other paths. This seems unrelated to demonic energy infusion as he is depicted with dark pupils even before picking up Conwell in his path story video.
A possible reason is for the artistic direction of this path.
The abbreviation for Sheath Knight is a T instead of S to prevent confusion with Sword Knight.
The swords summoned from Conwell swings don't get their color outline changed upon Awakening, thus remaining blue.
After advancing into Sheath Knight, loses its outline.
