- While the [Fate] buff is active, [Fate's Calling] cannot be stacked.
Tips and Details
- Multiple stacks can be provided instantly as you enter the dungeon from various sources, such as Dilution passive effect, a party buff from equipment, certain potions or elixirs, Gates of Darkness buff, and so on.
- Due to Dilution being a buff effect unique to each Way of the Sword mode, if you switch from Destruction mode to Vitality mode, you will get 1 stack immediately, and if you then switch back to Destruction mode, you will gain another stack. Switching again to either mode within their own 5-second cooldown will not provide you any stacks however. Using another buff (like any [El's Resonance] skill effect) within that period will still work.
- [Fate's Calling] itself does not count towards the passive and will not gain an additional stack.
- All Special Active skills used during El's Resonance in their respective mode will be able to provide a stack thanks to Thirst, and skills that trigger [El's Cycle], [El's Glory] or [El's Judgment] can gain up to 2 stacks at once, depending on if one or neither was on cooldown at the time.
- Due to their own buffs, Dominion and Holy Sword can also provide up to 2 stacks at once.
- Curiously, upon awakening, you gain 5 stacks of [Fate's Calling], despite only 4 buffs being triggered (not counting certain bonuses from titles, costumes or accessory sets): Awakening Mode itself, Transcendence skill slot buff, Trigger Point's speed buff and Sword of the El's Super Armor buff. It is possible either Trigger Point's Move/Jump Speed and Action Speed bonus is seen as 2 separate buffs despite sharing one buff icon, or that Choice and Resolve's additional Critical Damage during awakening counts towards the passive, despite not having a buff icon of its own.
