Description
The moment the El Search Party entered the castle, all doors shut down as the security system greets them with merciless attacks.

Phase Gimmick

When a player gets hit by any of the boss' attacks, they will receive one stack of  Self DebuffSurveillanceSelf DebuffSurveillance that lasts for 15 seconds. When any player in the party reaches 20 stacks, that player's stacks will be removed and the boss will instantly cast Annihilation Mode.

When the boss reaches 50% HP, it will gain a permanent attack increase for the remainder of the fight and immediately cast Charging Mode, Circuit Overload, or Full System Restart at random.

Additionally, multiple charging rods will be set up across the arena (4 on the left side, 4 on the right side). These charging rods are initially inactive, but will be activated for certain attacks.

Boss Attacks Tips
  • Annihilation Mode: The boss erratically fires off lasers coming from all directions. The location of these lasers is indicated by red warning lines briefly before they are fired.
  • The lasers appear to fire randomly with no consistency or pattern.
  • The hitbox of the lasers is significantly larger than what the warning lines suggest (reaching about 3 players wide), meaning the safe spots are smaller than one might initially expect.
  • It is possible to avoid these lasers by using special active skills with long invincibility frames such as Spriggan, Chandelier, or certain master skills such as Dignity.
    • It is not recommended to use your hyperactive skill, due to its long cooldown and its necessity in phase 2.
  • In Difficulty 4, the lasers cannot be avoided with invincibility frames.
  • Electromagnetic Energy Release: The boss releases a stream of electric energy around itself, dealing minor damage and inflicting a random debuff on any players hit.
  • Amongst the debuffs this attack can inflict, the most common appear to be  ConfusionConfusion,  Move SlowdownMove Slowdown, and  AgingAging.
    • All the debuffs can be removed with skills that cleanse debuffs or provides debuff immunity.
  • Electromagnetic Energy Ring: The boss releases a ring of electricity around itself, dealing minor continuous damage, and inflicting  Self Debuff???Self Debuff???, decreasing physical and magical attack for 10 seconds.
  • Unlike Electromagnetic Energy Release, only the ring of electricity has a hitbox. Players can avoid this attack by either standing close to the boss (within the red colored zone), or by standing away from the boss, beyond the reach of the electricity.
  • The  Self Debuff???Self Debuff??? debuff can be removed with skills that cleanse debuffs or provides debuff immunity.
  • Directional Charge: Charges a short distance in one cardinal direction, leaving behind a pulsing trail of electricity. Players hit by either the charge or the electric trail will be inflicted with  Leg InjuryLeg Injury for 5 seconds.
  • Neither parts of this attack deal significant damage. However, due to the multi-hit nature of this attack, it can be easy for a player to unintentionally accumulate  SurveillanceSurveillance stacks.
  • The  Leg InjuryLeg Injury can be removed with skills that cleanse debuffs or provides debuff immunity.
  • Charging Rod Laser: Activates three pairs of charging rods, which then fire a horizontal laser between each set. Any players hit will be inflicted with  ConfusionConfusion for 7 seconds.
  • The lasers do not last for long and deal minor damage.
  • The lasers are capable of very slightly hitting players one platform above, depending on a multitude of factors. This should be kept in mind for Lu/Ciel players in particular, as to avoid unintentionally being hit by a laser.
  • Electric Terrain: Fires a beam of electricity which descends and covers the ground for a short period of time. If a red beam is fired, the electricity will cover the bottom-most platform (ie. the ground floor). If a yellow beam is fired, the electricity will cover the middle platform above the ground.
  • While the attack does not inflict too much damage due to its multi-hit nature, it can be easy for a player to unintentionally accumulate  SurveillanceSurveillance stacks.

  • Elsword: With endless surge of attacks from all directions, it's hard to keep myself focused. This pressure in limited space... it reminds me of the fortress in Elysion.
  • Aisha: The metals here are completely incompatible with me. They absorb my magic. Well, it's not too much of an issue. Mages always find a way!
  • Rena: I was so surprised when the entire hall turned upside down! We just arrived at the entrance to the tower... I'm concerned about what could await us inside.
  • Raven: It's a little funny to say this now after all these tricky attacks, but it feels truly like a fortress at this point. Now, what next?
  • Eve: We had to deal with a lot, but I'm glad we're able to pass here. I won't say much about the holes in the security system.
  • Chung: An enemy that bombards attacks in a closed space... It was a bit of a challenge. But no problem! My cannon has no blind spot!
  • Ara: I can't believe the chandelier was the main device that guarded this place...! Are there other devices like that? Maybe these stairs? The wall decorations? Don't tell me... the carpet?!
  • Elesis: I thought we'd see the culprit behind the disaster upon Lu's land... but all we've met so far are just toys. Looks like our villain is quite shy, huh?
  • Add: Ha... I can't believe this defense system uses such an elementary structure! I thought there would be more to it! I feel so stupid...
  • Lu: I'm glad the doors opened. I wonder if my voices reached him...
  • Ciel: I let my temper out a little... but I'm sure that kid let us through. Does this mean we still have room to talk?
  • Rose: Lasers everywhere, chandelier suddenly drops down to attack us... The entire hall flips upside down... This feels like a test room at the highest level. I'm not too fond of it...
  • Ain: It was a good idea to use the loophole in the system. Would Mr. Ancient and Ms. Queen get angry at me if I told them it's good to sometimes not think too hard? Haha.
  • Laby: I was so surprised when the hall turned upside down like Whee~! I thought Laby would topsy turvy~ Heehee, it was fun~!
  • Noah: Pant, pant... I'm so glad Clamor's idea worked fine. Eve and Add didn't seem so pleased... but I can finally stop running...
  • Lithia: Whew~! That was close. I know how the automated golems and magic devices work, but how does this machine work? Maybe the sleazy guy over there will tell me.
