Contrary to the normal version, the drill doesn't deal any damage on the initial cast for 1.2 seconds, then proceeds to explode constantly.
At the end of the initial animation, the drill gets kicked by Eve and moves forward with a high speed, following curved paths. Hitting any monster or an obstacle will cause the drill to drastically slow down to inflict more hits, just like Cour de Monde.
- However, due to the drill's rather low vertical range and its speed when hitting, it is not considered a good clearing skill in endgame content.
Eve's animation will be a bit longer than the normal version due to performing the kick. In exchange, this skill is capable of dealing more damage.
- Only large targets, such as King of Abyss, will be able to take full damage from the skill when awakened.
If used in air, the grinder will stay at a constant height, regardless of touching platforms or not.
The explosions are capable of dealing splash damage on tightly stacked groups of enemies.
