Phase Gimmick

Type-B Vargr will continuously walk forward and its movements cannot be stopped. If it successfully completes a lap around the Great Steel Wall, all players will be instantly killed and the dungeon will fail. Additionally, Type-B Vargr's main body can only be damaged once its legs have been destroyed, temporarily halting its movements. The Legs are affected by movement speed debuffs so skills such as Impact Zone and the force actives Fog of Death and Haunting Spirit are very useful for slowing its movement.

Boss Attacks Tips
  • Flatten: Raises itself up and then flattens down, dealing heavy damage to any players nearby, and inflicting  Self DebuffFlattenedSelf DebuffFlattened for 5 seconds.
  • Laser: Fires a sweeping laser from its main body.
  • The area directly underneath Type-B Vargr is safe from the laser.
  • Electron Ball: Fires a large, red electron ball from its main body. The ball will gradually fall downwards and bounce twice before expiring. If the electron ball hits any players, a smaller, stationary electron ball will split off, which then further splits in an expanding 8-directional manner.
  • The area directly underneath Type-B Vargr is safe from this attack.
  • While the smaller, omnidirectional electron balls disappear after a short period of time, the stationary electron ball will linger for a few seconds afterwards.
  • Falling Electron Ball: Displays a pulsing red beam, then shortly after, fires a large, red electron ball that falls straight down from the top of the screen. It explodes on contact with the ground, and will deal heavy damage to any players hit.
  • Missile: Targets a player with a red arrow indicator, then fires either a small missile that falls straight down from the top of the screen, or a small missile that homes in on the targeted player.
  • Photon Flare: Gathers energy around its core, then releases it in a blinding white light. Players who are facing the boss will be inflicted with  Self DebuffLethargySelf DebuffLethargy for 5 seconds.
  • The  Self DebuffLethargySelf DebuffLethargy debuff can be removed or negated with skills that remove debuffs, such as Immunity or Refined.
  • Turret Attack: Upon approaching a turret, Type-B Vargr will begin charging, then fire a giant laser, dealing heavy damage to any players hit, and destroying the turret.
  • One player should approach the turret and, using the Dungeon Special Function key (default: F1), mount the turret. This player will then be able to aim via a red reticle on the ground.
    • The turret is very lag sensitive and may fail to fire.
  • Alternatively, players can gather directly underneath the boss to avoid the laser.

Dialogue
  • Laby: It's so big! How do we fight it?
  • Rose: The legs look weak compared to its size. It will make our lives easier if we aim those first.
  • Ain: I wonder what this lever does? Hmph.
  • Ciel: Owowow... That stings! Hey, give us a heads up before touching anything?!
  • Ain: Oops, haha, sorry. But it wasn't too bad.
  • Ain: If we get the timing right, we can weaken the enemies.
  • Raven: Enemies' cannon attacks are getting in the way. Is there any way to neutralize the attacks?
  • Eve: I've taken over the control of the turrets installed on the walls. We should be able to shoot enemies down with these!
