Skill Notes

Skill notes are various items that can be used to permanently enhance the ability of a particular skill. In order to use skill note, you will need to have obtained a Skill Book by completing Ariel's Skill Book quest. Alternatively you can purchase it from the Cash Shop.

There are 2 types of skill notes: Special Skill Notes and Active Skill Notes.

Special Skill Notes

Special Skill Notes modify certain characteristics of Special Actives, and are obtained from quests, monster drops or from the Cash Shop*. These skill notes tend to be valued highly in the market, due to the usefulness of the characteristics they grant.

Active Skill Notes

Active Skill Notes modify certain characteristics of Actives and are obtained from quests, monster drops or from the Cash Shop*. These notes, too, tend to be fairly expensive in the market.

*Notes obtained through quests or the Cash Shop are untradeable. Cash Skill Notes can however be sent as Gifts.

Skill Book Quest

Speak to Ariel when you are Lv. 20 and accept the Skill Book quest

Step 1: Complete 3-1 and 3-2 on Very Hard mode.

Step 2: Collect 20 torn pages (from Red Salamanders in the Besma region) and 4 Besma vegetable Alchemist items (that are worth 2,100 ED). this step requires a lot of patience; the torn pages have a very low drop rate.

Elsword

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
Skill Note Name: Advice on widening footwork (넓은 보법에 대한 조언)
Adds 3 more hits to the skill, and makes the hits 50% faster and further. 		Complete Skill Note Quest from Besma Blacksmith, Toma.
If the skill misses, Elsword will recover 50% MP. There will also be 20% damage increase and the final hit will not knockdown. From monster drop
Skill Note Name: Lava (용암 분출)
Increases the height and width of Flame Geyser's fire by 20%. Target will also burn for 10 seconds. 		From monster drop
File:ElSkill4.png Parry gives a 2x defence buff for 4 seconds, and 0.5 seconds is wasted with the stance From monster drop
File:ElSkill12.png Increases damage of kick by 4x Complete Quest from Camilia, the PvP woman.
Increases duration by 5 seconds, your damage increases by 10%. From monster drop

Sword Knight

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
File:ElSkill5i.png Increases the chance of successful break by 20%. From Cash Shop
Decreases the knockdown counter more then before and has a 10% faster execution. From Cash Shop
File:ElSkill14.png Skill Note Name: Accurate and Powerful Strike (정확하고 강한 타격)
Level Req: 25
First hit has increased range and stuns for two seconds which places the opponent in an optimal position. 		From Cash Shop

Magic Knight

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
Increased explosion time by 0.3 seconds and increased maximum amount of hits. From Cash Shop
Consumes 50 MP on hit From Cash Shop
Add one additional blade to each side (total of 6 blades) From Cash Shop

Aisha

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
Skill Note Name: Soul Movement Memo (영혼 이동에 대한 메모)
After teleporting, you will be invincible for 0.5 seconds. However, MP cost will be increased by 40%. 		From Monster Drop
Increases the time of burning by 10 seconds. From Monster Drop
Target will be stunned for 2.5 sec after a certain amount of of hits. From Monster Drop
Reduces the speed of the enemies that are binded. Complete Skill Note Quest from Besma Blacksmith, Toma.
Damage of each fireball increase by 10%. From Monster Drop
decreases the damage of mobs to you by 80% and takes longer for 8hits

but increases the cool down 5sec total of 20sec CD.

  • example the normal damage to you is 1000 when you use it it will be 200

Dark Mage

Increases the area and the slow for 33%. From Cash Shop
The skill will no longer use MP. From Cash Shop

High Mage

33% increase in movement speed when you meditate. 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Open Explosion (열기 폭발)
Fireballs become 20% larger and all fireballs will cause burns. 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Ideal Missle (생각대로 미사일)
Magic Missile becomes 50% faster and has two times more hits. 		From Cash Shop

Rena

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
File:Siege.PNG Decreases the cool-down after shots(means you can fire faster) From Monster Drop
File:Back Tumbling Shot.PNG Reduces cooldown by 1 second. From Monster Drop
File:Rail Stinger.PNG The mana arrow can now penetrate 4 enemies and the damage is increased by 15%. Complete the Quest from Besma Blacksmith, Toma.
Skill Note Name: Easy Start III (처음은 살살 III)
First Shot of stinger arrows do not knock down the opponent. 		Monster Drop
File:Phoenix Strike.PNG Increases critical chance by 10% and the enemies burn for 10 more seconds. From Monster Drop
File:Reflect Kick.png Skill Note Name: Re-bound Opportunity I (재 도약의 기회 I)
Reduces cooldown by 1 second. lvl req.28 Tried and Tested 		Complete Quest from Camilia, the PvP woman.

Combat Ranger

30% chance that the target will not be knocked down. 		From Cash Shop

50% decrease in skill speed thus dealing more hits, but the damage of each hit is reduced to 33% of its original power. 		From Cash Shop

Sniping Ranger

Raven

Skill Note Name: Unconsciousness-inducing blow (정신을 잃게 만드는 타격)
70% chance that the victims are stunned(also resets the KD counter) and does not knock-down. 		Complete Quest from Besma Blacksmith, Toma.
Decreases mana consumption by 30.(cost 170 mp) Monster Drop
Skill Note Name: The Best Biggie! (최고의 비기!)
Reduces the speed of the moving explosion by 30%, therefore increasing the number of hits. 		Monster Drop
10MP initial use and 75% MP less used per second(approximately 2.5mp per second) Monster Drop.
Skill Note Name: Lightning Pace (번개 같은 발걸음)
Increases strafe speed by 30%. 		Complete Quest from Camilia, the PvP woman.
60% chance of no knockdown when piercing an opponent. Monster Drop.

Sword Taker

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain

File:STSactive1.png Skill Note Name: Detect Weaknesses. (약점 간파).
Damage will ignore all of the targets' defence. 		From Cash Shop
Causes Raven to spin slower while executing the move, increasing the number of hits. From Cash Shop

Over Taker

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
Weapon Break Increase the chance of break succeeding by 20% From Cash Shop
Charge Bolt Increases the size of the bolt by 30%. From Cash Shop
Arc Enemy Each Javelin will reset the knockdown counter and hit twice. From Cash Shop

Eve

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
Gives 10MP/s regeneration while in Cloaking, but increases the cooldown to 10s Monster Drop
30% Chance of not taking up HP when skill is used, but increases cooldown to 8s. Complete quest given by Camila, the PvP Woman.
The Nasod Scout no longer knocks down when summoned and its attacks will have less knock-down ratio Complete Quest from Besma Blacksmith, Toma.

Increases suction range of the black hole by 30% and increases the damage by 10%. Monster Drop
Decreases cooldown by 1 second and reduces charging time by 33%. Monster Drop

Code Exotic

Removes the launch of the initial hit and increases the skill's damages by 10% Cash Shop

Increases explosion AoE by 50%. 		Monster Drop.
Skill Note Name: Opportune Reloading (우겨넣기)
50% chance of reloading one extra round. 		Monster Drop.
Skill Note Name: Property Bullet (속성 탄환)
3 times more likely to activate your elemental attribute when you attack with aiming shot. 		Complete Quest from Camilia, the PvP woman.

Fury Guardian

The stomp at the end of leap attack no longer lifts the opponent. 		Monster Drop

Shooting Guardian

Pierces up to 2 more targets and reloads one round. 		Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: REAL Head Shot (REAL 헤드 샷)
