Skill Notes

Skill notes are various items that can be used to permanently enhance the ability of a particular skill. In order to use skill note, you will need to have obtained a Skill Book by completing Ariel's Skill Book quest. Alternatively you can purchase it from the Cash Shop.

There are 2 types of skill notes: Special Skill Notes and Active Skill Notes.

Special Skill Notes

Special Skill Notes modify certain characteristics of Special Actives, and are obtained from quests, monster drops or from the Cash Shop*. These skill notes tend to be valued highly in the market, due to the usefulness of the characteristics they grant.

Active Skill Notes

Active Skill Notes modify certain characteristics of Actives and are obtained from quests, monster drops or from the Cash Shop*. These notes, too, tend to be fairly expensive in the market.

*Notes obtained through quests or the Cash Shop are untradeable. Cash Skill Notes can however be sent as Gifts.

Skill Book Quest

Speak to Ariel when you are Lv. 20 and accept the Skill Book quest

Step 1: Complete 3-1 and 3-2 on Very Hard mode.

Step 2: Collect 20 torn pages (from the Fire Komodos in the Bethma Region) and 4 Native Dyestuffs (that are worth 2,100 ED).

Elsword

Skill Note Name: Advice on widening footwork (넓은 보법에 대한 조언)
Adds 3 more hits to the skill, and makes the hits 50% faster and further. 		Complete Skill Note Quest from Besma Blacksmith, Toma.
Skill Note Name: I know when men retreat(남자는 물러설 때를 안다)
If the skill missed at the first hit, the skill will be canceled immediately and Elsword will recover 50% MP. There will also be 20% damage increase. 		From monster drop
Skill Note Name: Lava (용암 분출)
Increases the height and width of Flame Geyser's fire by 20%. Target will also burn for 10 seconds. 		From monster drop

Parry gives a 2x defence buff for 4 seconds, and 0.5 seconds is wasted with the stance 		From monster drop

Skill Note Name: Law of strained breathing and strengthening. (긴장된 호흡과 강화 유지법)
Decreases cooldown by 5 seconds, your damage increases by 10%. 		From monster drop

Sword Knight

Increases the chance of successful break by 20%. 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Endless attacks, the Theory and Reality (끝없는 공격 그 이론과 실재)
Decreases the knockdown counter more then before and has a 10% faster execution. 		From Cash Shop

Level Req: 25
First hit has increased range and stuns for two seconds which places the opponent in an optimal position. 		From Cash Shop

Magic Knight

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
Skill Note Name: Inextinguishable Flames (꺼지지 않는 불길)
Increased explosion time by 0.3 seconds and increased maximum amount of hits by 5 when hitting 2 targets above. 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Spirit Destruction (영혼 파괴)
Reduces targets' MP by 50 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Thoughts on the Quantitative Improvementㅣ (양적 향상에 대한 생각 ㅣ)
Increases the hit count of each blade by two (totaling up to six hits per blade) and adds one additional blade to each side (total of six blades) 		From Cash Shop

Aisha

Skill Note Description Image How to Obtain
Skill Note Name: Soul Movement Memo (영혼 이동에 대한 메모)
During teleportation, you will be invincible for 0.5 seconds. However, MP cost will be increased by 40%. 		From Monster Drop
Skill Note Name: Burning Method Ninety-Two (재벌 구이 방법) / Second Burning Method (NA)
Increases the time of burning by 10 seconds. 		From Monster Drop
Skill Note Name: 200% Overcharge shock (200% 과충전 쇼크)
Target will be stunned for 2.1 sec after a certain amount of of hits; reduces maximum number of hits on stoic from 22 to 12. 		From Monster Drop
Skill Note Name: Physiological Trauma(정신전 외상)
Reduces the speed of the binded enemies by 20% for 10 seconds. 		Complete Skill Note Quest from Besma Blacksmith, Toma.
Skill Note Name: Thoughts on the Quantitative Improvementㅣㅣ (양적 향상에 대한 생각 ㅣㅣ)
Adds one fireball. (2 more hits) 		From Monster Drop
Skill Note Name: Notes on a stable shield (견고한 실드에 대한 메모)
Shield strength increased by 20%(80% total at max), but skill cooldown increased by 5 seconds. 		Complete Quest from Camilia, the PvP woman.

Dark Mage

Mp consumption decreased by 10. (No longer uses any MP) 		From Cash Shop

Skill Note Name: Time to use poison without mercy (독을 쓸 때에는 자비심 없이)
On hit, it decreases movement & jump speed by 30% and poison duration increases by 5 seconds . 		From Cash Shop

High Mage

25% increase in movement speed when you meditate(Walking). (33% in german version) 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Open Explosion (열기 폭발)
Fireballs become 20% larger and all fireballs will cause burns. 		From Cash Shop
Skill Note Name: Ideal Missile (생각대로 미사일)
Magic Missile becomes 50% faster and has two times more hits. 		From Cash Shop

Raven

Skill Note Name: Unconscious-inducing Blow (정신을 잃게 만드는 타격)
70% chance that the victims are stunned(also resets the KD counter) and does not knock-down. 		Complete Quest from the blacksmith of Bethma, Toma
Skill Note Name: New footwork (새로운 보법)
Decreases MP consumption by 20 (Will now use only 180 MP). 		Monster Drop
Skill Note Name: The Best Biggie! (최고의 비기!)
Reduces the speed of the moving explosion by 30%, therefore increasing the number of hits. 		Monster Drop
Skill Note Name: Exciting Jog (신나는 달리기)
10MP per initial use and 75% less MP is used per second(Approximately 2.5MP per second). 		Monster Drop.
Skill Note Name: Lightning Pace (번개 같은 발걸음)
Increases strafe speed by 30%. 		Complete Quest from Camilia, the PvP woman.
Skill Note Name: Efficient Thrust (효율적인 찌르기)
60% chance of no knockdown when piercing an opponent. 		Monster Drop.

Sword Taker

Increase bleed duration by 3 seconds and increase bleed damage. 		From Cash Shop

Each Javelin will reset the knockdown counter and hit twice. 		From Cash Shop

Eve

Skill Note Name: Lonely Waiting (쓸쓸한 기다림)
Gives 10MP/s regeneration while in Cloaking, but increases the cooldown to 10s 		Monster Drop
Skill Note Name: Decieve contract (속임수 계약)
30% Chance of not taking up HP when skill is used, but increases cooldown to 8s. 		Complete quest given by Camila, the PvP Woman.
Skill Note Name: Summoned for Continuous Attacks (연속공격을 위한 소환)
The Nasod Scout no longer knocks down when summoned and its attacks will have less knock-down ratio, cooldown is increased by 5 seconds. 		Complete Quest from Besma Blacksmith, Toma.

Reduces MP consumption by 20 and reduces range of the explosions by 20%. 		Monster Drop
Skill Note Name: Blackhole Ver.4.0 (블랙홀 Ver.4.0)
Increases suction range of the black hole by 30% and increases the damage by 10%. 		Monster Drop
Skill Note Name: Lightning Charge Rate (번개 같은 충전 속도)
Decreases cooldown by 1 second and reduces charging time by 33%. 		Monster Drop

Deals x2.3 more damage than original, but duration is decreased by 10 seconds. 		Cash Shop
