Lanox

Lanox, the village to the southeastern corn of Fluone and the land known as the edge of Elrios Continent. The Fire El has gone out of control and the Fire Priestess has retreated to the village.

The Six Priestesses are to meet here but the Light and Dark Priestesses Gloria and Darkmoon have gone missing. Many things aren't adding up and a conspiracy is in the ash filled volcanic air. Something big is brewing in Lanox.

Chapter 17: Scorched Harbingers of Darkness

Chapter 17

Elsword and the gang may have survived the desert, but can they take the heat of a volcanic territory? Our heroes travel onward to Lanox, an enraged land where a forest fire appears inextinguishable. In between encounters with furious divine creatures, they meet Lanox's young village chief Edel, the mysterious alchemist Pesop, and the fire priestess Ignia. They learn from Ignia that the Sun and Moon Priestesses have gone missing, and the explorers are sent off to the Ash Covered Village to investigate.

Description

As we entered the village of Lanox, an unexpected figure Ignia, the priestess of fire, says that she's plans to stay around town. Lets go talk to her to find out the strange phenomenon going on in the village of Lanox.

  • Ignia: Hey, over there! Yeah, you lot!
  • Elsword: What's wrong with that Red Hair? How rude.
  • Eve: You're the one to talk, Elsword.
  • Aisha: (Elsword, don't start a fight!)
  • Ignia: I'm the Fire Priestess Ignia. From the look of your outfit you must be adventurers
  • Chung: Ah... Fire Priestess?
  • Elesis: Hahaha! I found you somehow, I guess I won't need to look for you anymore.

  • Elsword: I'm sorry for being short.
  • Ignia: The Prophecy that Wind Priestess saw, I got the same thing. Said this town would be in flames and a great evil will rise here.. Sun and Moon Priestesses are here in Lanox because of the Prophecy.
  • Ara: Then all three Priestesses are in Lanox?
  • Ignia: No, the two Priestesses..the twins were kidnapped by someone.
  • Raven: Too late? Damn demons, they move fast.
  • Rena: I'm sure they kidnapped them to find where the El Lady is.
  • Ignia: Demons? That's a possibility.. But I'm not sure, even without the demons things aren't going well around here. Well, they were definitely kidnapped by someone. Could you please go find them?
  • Add: Kuku... At this point maybe the Priestesses are not communicating with the El, rather being kidnapped.
  • Ara: A-Add..!
  • Add: You. Please say you at least know where they were kidnapped to.
  • Ignia: I'm sure it's the Ashen Land. Ask the village Chief for more info on its whereabouts. To you guys, that selfish woman might open her mouth.

  • Edel: This area was once a peaceful land. Lanox used the Fire El Refiner to make this area bloom. But for some reason, recently we've been having unknown disasters that puts this land in havoc. The Fire Priestess is doing her best but..
  • Ignia: I'm trying my best but there's no progress. The El's power is becoming unstable.
  • Chung: Is this also related to the prophecy?
  • Ignia: I think so..?
  • Edel: You said you were headed for the Ashen Lands? You can go past the Burnt Forest and you'll reach it. Speaking of.. The Burnt Forest has all kinds of weird things happening.. Could you please investigate that? We tried to send people from the village but normal can't really withstand the heat. You were planning to go anyways so could you check it out? That's all for now. Until you find the cause, don't talk to me.

  • Rena: That earth shaking and everything else.. I'm worried it might be too much to handle.

Description

The fire rising from the village of Lanox is no natural disaster. Most likely it is linked to the kidnapping of the priestess. Break through the Burnt Forest and go to the Ash Covered Village!

  • Aisha: Pesop says the Fire El was mixed with dark spirits.
  • Edel: I see.. Listen carefully. More than half the area is covered with volcanic grounds and the Fire El is kept inside the Fire Temple. Which is in the middle of the volcanic grounds. If the Fire El goes rogue and makes the volcano erupt, Lanox can disappear.
  • Elsword: First off, why are they keeping the Fire El near a potential volcanic area? That's dangerous!
