Official Description

When Sander faced desertification, Emirate led the efforts to build a new village and soon became the chief. Fondly known as Red Beard, he is an excellent leader and an experienced former mercenary, virtuous and considerate, though meddlesome at times. He still thinks of Barren Sanders future, and aims to maintain good relations with the Caluso Tribe.

History

Pre-Story Events

In the past, Emirate was a mercenary of Sander, he was a very adept fighter. He worked his way up to being Sander's chief. Since his appointment as their leader, he's put forth many restoration projects both in the village as well as the surrounding area such as Barren Sander.

Chapter 13: Secrets of the Temple

After the El Search Party are sent there way to Sander, Emirate is informed of their arrival as well as their successful in both Velder and Hamel. Forgetting about Feita which Elsword corrects followed by Eve telling him not to be arrogant. Once Elesis asks for the Wind Priestess, Emirate informs the El Search Party that the Wind Priestess lives in the Caluso Tribal Village, however tells them that she is on her way to Sander as they speak and that they should rest till she arrives.

Chapter 14: The Secret Truth

Soon after the Trocks begin to attack the town, with the Wind Priestess arriving soon, this is not good. Fearing that the Wind Priestess Anduran's guards may not be enough to fend off the Trocks, Emirate sends the El Search Party into Barren Sander. When the El Search Party return with information that Anduran had been kidnapped by a harpy, Emirate knew that something was up. He was suspicious of the arrogant harpy tribe working with the Trocks. Uncertain what to do, Emirate tells the El Search Party to meet up with Vapor. Once the Search Party was able to capture a Rocky Trock, using translating device, the El Search Party and Emirate listened in on the Trock. After the Trock spoke of having new powers, Emirate looked to various reports of guards noticing symbols on the Trocks as of late. After looking into the symbols, Vapor tells Emirate to contact the Caluso Tribe, however Emirate states due to the current Trock infestations, a message cannot be sent. Once the El Search Party cleared the way, Emirate sent a messenger off.

Following Vapor's suggestion, Emirate agrees that Garpai Rock would be the next place for the team to investigate. Emirate wants the group to see if the Wind Priestess is still held captive by the Harpies, unfortunately when the group returned, they found no trace of her. In hopes to stir Kelaino into meeting in Sander, Vapor gives a Harpy feather to Emirate and tells his to give it to Kelaino. An item Emirate states has been forbidden from Sander's trading market due to the great animosity between the human and Harpies due to Harpies being hunted for their feathers in the past. When they successfully bring Kelaino to negotiate, she lashes out with accusations that Harpies were being hunted down again, an accusation that Emirate firmly denies. Kelaino unsatisfied with what she heard, she sent Aello and Okypete after the messenger they sent to the Caluso Village. Emirate was relieved when the El Search Party stopped the two Harpies.

Chapter 15: The Predicted Misunderstanding

After listening in on the conversation between Vapor and Kelaino, Emirate exclaimed that the demons were behind it. Vapor suspecting Anduran was taken to the Trock's Lair, Emirate sent the El Seach Party that way as he headed towards the Caluso Tribal Village himself to inform them about the new information.

When arriving to the Caluso Tribal Village, Emirate was attacked by the tribesmen and held captive. He was rescued when the El Search Party became concerned when no word from Emirate had came. Once the El Search Party had closed in that Karu was being hypnotized much like Trockta, Emirate reunites with the Search Party to negotiate with Karu after he had broke his trance. Once Karu regained control, Emirate and Chung explain the situation.

Chapter 16: Soul of the Wind

As the Behemoth had been awakened, Vegar came requiring assistance to supply one of the Caluso's ancient airships with Wind Stones for fuel. Luckily Emirate has found a supply of Wind Stones held by Trocks near Wind Stone Ruins. Aboard the Sandtilus, as the assault on Behemoth continued, Emirate acted as one of the lead commanders working alongside Karu, Vegar, and the other Caluso chiefs. With the use of a control device, Emirate was able to immobilize the Behemoth so the El Search Party could dive down and retrieve the Wind Priestess Anduran.

After Karis was defeated, Emirate thanked the El Search Party on behalf of all of Sander, wishing that he could do more for them.
