Rift: Come to think of it, what is the bloody incident involving libra herbs? Lithia: Oh, you mean the Elrian Kingdom court magician assassination incident. Lithia: The magician was found dead with his tongue turned black. You could tell at a glance that he was poisoned. Rift: A murder within the king's residence is a great dishonor. The king must have been displeased. Lithia: Yes, but you see, the case takes an unexpected turn. Lithia: The court magician affiliated with the same Society of Magicks suggested that the magician might not have been poisoned to death, claiming the magician's tongue was already black to begin with. Lithia: Apparently, whenever someone would ask for his methods, he would alugh and stick his tongue out, stating, 'This is the method of my success'. Lithia: But the magician was indeed poisoned. And this led to a fierce conflict. Lithia: Out of nowhere, the Society of Magicks was suspected of murder and planning a rebellion. Lithia: All of a sudden, instead of focusing on whether or not the magician was poisoned, the incident became about who was part of the rebel forces. Rift: SO a magician's death brought about a turmoil... Was the culprit ever found? Lithia: Sigh, this is the craziest part... The culprit was the dead magician himself. Lithia: Just to be clear, it wasn't a suicide. Rift: Then what? Did he drink a concentrated libra herb solution by mistake of something? Lithia: Kind of. I bet Mathi would flip out. Lithia: You know how you have to wipe the point of the pen, because it doesn't write well when the ink dries on it? Lithia: Apparently, the magician had a peculiar habit of licking of the dried ink at the point. Rift: Gah...! Lithia: Hahaha, the magical ink of finest quality provided to the court magician... and the libra herb contained in it. Lithia: The magician was slowly poisoning himself because of his own habits. Rift: His method of success... Did he mean the hours he spent researching to the point his tongue turned black? Rift: Bragging, what, that he doesn't even have the time to properly wipe the pen points? What an unsanitary passion for knowledge. Lithia: Tell me about it. So case-closed, the mystery was solved. However, the incident was far from over. Lithia: The people who split due to the incident have already passed the point of no return, leading to another incident that's even more bloody. Lithia: The magician's death was the trigger. Rift: It's a beautiful flower... It's sad to think it caused such an incident. Lithia: It's a sinful flower. So libra herbs sometimes symbolize trouble makers. Lithia: A bad friend who leads someone close to them down a terrible path. Lithia: I suppose, it's kind of like me. Rift: ... No. How is that the flower's fault? Rift: It was the people who took sides, split up, and pointed fingers. They're just blaming the flower for their actions. Rift: You were right. The problem is the people who abuse it. Lithia: Huhu, I guess you have a point. The flower might think it's not fair to take the blame.
