With aid from the Red Knights, Chung and Penensio survey the situation and attempt to resolve the flooding of Resiam. Seeking out the Water Temple, they encounter the corrupted Priest of the Water Temple who gives Chung the Water Seal with his dying breath. Returning to Hamel, news that the Black Armored Knight appeared drew Chung's attention.

 Penensio: The situation... is truly not ideal.- Penensio mumbled, as he looked at Senace's current situation on the map. From his obvious response, everyone else in the command room stayed silent, as if telling him they had no words to add.
- Penensio: 'Strange. It looks like their tactics are sound. The commander is making the most viable, logical choices.'
- Penensio: 'But this.... The enemies are retaliating as if they already knew all the moves they would make. Not only that, they are too familiar with the geography...'
 Chung: I know our situation is not the most ideal... But is there any way to better defend against the demons?- Penensio: First off... Most of Senace has already been taken over by Senace. As such, we need to take back what's taken to have enough grounds to have a safe space for all the refugees.
- Penensio: We, the Red Knights, will take charge in the recapturing operation.
 Rod Ross: Is, is that fine?- Penensio: Yes. Hamel must be protected with utmost priority as the capital, and there's likely issues with keeping order with the sudden surge in refugees.
- Penensio: And the Red Knights were originally a band of mercenary knights, so our command and operation structure differs from that of a standard army.
- Rod Ross: Ahh... I, I see then... Nothing we can do...
- Chung: I'll help as well. As the heir of the Seiker family, I cannot just stand by and watch.
- Penensio: Alright. We will announce the administrative district near Hamel as our first target and recapture the areas one by one. We do not have enough time, so we'll start the operation immediately.
- Chung: Yes, I'll follow your lead!
- Chung and the Red Knights began immediately and defeated demons as they advanced.

- Penensio: We need to find the priest and the Water Priestess. And we need to check on the Water El immediately.
- Chung: The entrance to the temple is that way. Ah...!
- Chung: That... That demon...! He's the priest!
- Penensio: He looks like he's under demon's control. He's coming at us!

- Chung: 'He looks to be around my age, but feels similar to that person in Velder... Is he additional reinforcements from Velder...?'

- The moment he felt relief, the pain he was pushing back with his will came back in waves and Chung collapsed on the spot.
- Before Chung completely lost consciousness, he looked at the boy in red clothes and his companions as his vision faded. They defeated the demons in no time and were gathering around him.
- ???: He fainted. Let's take him back.
- As he slowly lost consciousness, Chung thought of one thing.
- Chung: 'If reinforcements from Velder, and these people help... I feel like I can save both my father and Senace. I feel like I can really turn the tides...'
- Chung didn't know that his encounter with the boy in red clothes was the start of a long journey, and was also his first meeting with companions who would rely on him, and who he can rely on for that long journey.
