Description

Noah wakes up inside the Landar family's carriage. He shows increasing discomfort as the carriage draws closer to Elrianode.

  • Noah: Ugh... Ahh... My head...
  • Yuria: ... That's right. It was due to the Demon Invasion of Velder that the treat posed by demons became widely known. It was shocking. I suppose you can say the whole world turned upside down. It's a castle. Who would have thought the invasion would start within its walls?
  • Clamor: If I'm understanding this correctly, in short, the demons used the elemental El Shards from each region to create a rift in the dimension that acted as a portal to Elrios... Man... This is overwhelming news. I thought the Demon Realm was some kind of fictional world, and 'demons' was just another name for dangerous monsters.
  • Yuria: That's not too far off from how we reacted. When we first heard that demons invaded Feita, we thought, 'My, monsters in the castle? What is this world come to?' In any case, the El Search Party and the elite guards of Velder used the situation to their advantage. Instead of attacking the castle, they turned the tide to their favor by trapping the demons inside.
  • Clamor: A daring move. I suppose it was too late to save the royals and the nobles, since the invasion started from the castle. The group that helped defend the Demon Invasion and restore the El, they're called the El Search Party, correct? Who are they, exactly?
  • Yuria: Ah! I'm actually very familiar on this subject! The El Search Party was formed by Velder Kingdom after the El Explosion. It was formed to seek out the El shards, scattered across the world, to restore them. However, they lacked results and were eventually downsized to a small group in Ruben. But heroes rise from the most unexpected places! The redheaded swordsman from the El Search Party, the Elf who befriended the spirits, and Landar's very own! Genius girl magician appeared! They are... the El Search Party! Rising to fame by returning the El that was stolen from Ruben! These proud heroes stopped the Demon Invasion, saving many people in the process, and finally! Was able to restore the El!
  • Clamor: ... I see, the age of heroes.
  • Yuria: Oh... Do you not like this kind of story, Clamor? It... doesn't make your heart swell with excitement?
  • Clamor: I suppose I'm a little too old for fairytales... And this... what seems to be the social norm of this era... unsettles me. Of course, heroes appear in a time of crisis... But from what you said, it sounds like this redheaded swordsman is quite young. I makes me wonder... Is it so dangerous these days that even kids have to risk their lives...? You and Noah too, are quite proficient in battle. Is this normal for this day and age...?
  • Yuria: Aww, Clamor! It's not as bad as you think! Besides, whether this world is in danger or not...! You have to protect what's important to you with your own hands, right?
  • Clamor: Mm... It's that exact attitude which unsettles me.

  • Clamor: Don't worry. Everything's been taken care of. Sigh, the building was collapsing, then you suddently pass out on us, you really scared me! Thank goodness Yuria was there to help, or else...
  • Yuria: Heehee, I know, I'm pretty great.
  • Noah: (Pass... out...? It didn't feel like that. It actually felt similar to what Clamor said when he suddently lost consciousness. Is this a coincidence? Or... does this mean that I don't have much time left?)
  • Clamor: We didn't confirm Titania's death, but we were underground, and the manor collapsed the moment we came out. It's very unlikely that she survived.
  • Noah: .......
  • Yuria: We left several people from camp at the manor. We can learn more from them once they get everything sorted out. Right now, our camp is headed to Elrianode. I believe we're almost there. Oh! I believe it's time for me to be on watch duty. Rest easy, ok?

  • Clamor: You don't look too happy. A coin for your thoughts?
  • Noah: ... I believe the last El Masters are currently in Elrianode. I didn't really want to see them. They didn't even notice that a fanatic sneaked into their ranks, after all.

  • Noah: I know. I'm being hypocritical. It's not like I knew my brother was switched. But... still...
  • Clamor: We can leave if you want. We don't have to go to Elrianode.
  • Noah: ... We have to. All our trails went cold. Since we don't know what our next step should be, we might as well go see the El Masters.
  • Clamor: Trails? You mean about the Order? I thought we were done with that.
  • Noah: We only caught one grunt. We didn't even get a whiff of the core members of Henir's Order.
  • Clamor: ... Are you going to keep going until the Order is completely destroyed?
  • Noah: ....... Besides... we need to find a way to get your body back.

  • Noah: It's been on my mind for a while. When I first woke up, I traveled quite far... away from Lanox. That's when I noticed... It seems the civilization in Elrios declined greatly since the El Explosion. Which means, the ruins of ancient cities are ironically where traces of most advanced civilization remain. There might be a lead to get your body back in Elrianode. That's what I mean by 'might as well'... We have to face the El Masters eventually, anyway. This is a precious opportunity that Harque gave me. I can't stop or get distracted.
