Story/Side Story/Before Joining (Eve) 1: Difference between revisions

After encountering the El Search Party, Elsword offers her company, however Eve is not ready. She still has much to think about in Altera. She travels to the Black Crow to see involuntarily augmented humans, reflecting on the cyborg amongst the El Search Party. She travels to see the ruins of her people rotten and contaminated by the Alterasia and the Return Plains and Transporting Tunnel.

Eve sensed an airship signal at the edge of Altera, not too far from Ponggo Village and decided to check it out. Eve: ... The Black Crow. The airship Adam used to transport the El Shards and magic stones needed to serve as an energy source for the Nasod army... Eve: If I figure out how long this airship has been used, I can figure out when Adam began to move actively. Remy: !! Eve: Did you find something, Remy? Remy was staring at a wall, where many humans were leaning against it. Eve tensed, but let her guard down once she realized they were not moving. Eve: These... are humans modified with Nasod technology. It seems they have ceased operating when they stopped receiving orders after Adam was defeated. Eve: ... Pardon me. Moby, Remy? I wish to investigate the code. Please lend me your assistance. Moby & Remy: ~! ~! Eve looked at the code that was transplanted in the Black Crow member. As she investigated further back in the data base, she was able to find data on what seemed like the basis of the code, named [Nasod Transplant Soldiers]. As she looked more deeply, Eve was stunned. Nasod Transplant Soldiers existed since before Elrian Kingdom, during the Nasod War. A weapon specialized against Nasods developed by humans... Eve hurried to read the rest of the records. Eve: This... is unbelievable. Humans used Nasod technology to fight against the Nasods? I thought humans hated the Nasods. Eve: ... Adam... Why would Adam bring something like this, back? Adam must have been inspired by humans modifying machines, as he himself modified to use the Transplant Soldiers. But it seems it didn't just stop there. Eve: That man named Raven... His eyes were full of hatred. It seemed Adam not only tried to tap on his mind, but also tried to control his emotions. Why? Eve: (Adam... What did humans mean to you?) She asked herself, but could not find the answer. Eve: (What do humans mean to me?) Eve thought about Raven, who glared at her with hate-filled eyes. A human who had the arm of her brethren... Eve thought that arm was like a trophy flaunted by a hunter. But to think it was actually modified without consent by Adam... Eve: (What am I, to humans...?) Moby & Remy: ...... Moby and Remy gathered by her feet, as if they were worried. Eve broke out of her thinking and smiled as if trying to console them. Eve: I believe there's nothing left for us to do here. Without Adam, the airship and the soldiers will no longer cause any more problems. Eve: Let's go. We have no reason to be here anymore. Eve left the black airship with the drones. The setting sun was painting the deck with warm light.
