Using the old storybook she had found on the forest floor, it provides valuable insight for her current situation against the Golem. Upon retrieving the El shard from the Golem, suspicious signs of what might be over the horizon begin to creep up. Elesis decides to continue on her way back to Ruben but also look into the Shadow Forest as her initial hunch.

The Knight Captain faces danger inside the Black Forest.
Quest Completion Dialogue
CRASH!!! A large boulder crashed on the ground. Elesis barely dodged the boulder and rolled on the ground. Elesis: Shoot...! Elesis: That was close. I've never seen anything like that before. Elesis faced the giant golem and got in position. Elesis: I didn't think something like that would be in the Black Forest... Perhaps this is the reason why all the monsters are coming out of the Black Forest. She needed to inform Feita Guards. As Elesis looked for an opportunity to back out, the golem slammed its fist on the ground, as if to tell her it won't let her escape. Elesis: Ha, so you won't let me escape? Elesis: Fine. I'll end you with my own hands. Elesis: But... What should I do against an opponent that's too hard to make a dent with a sword? Golems are made with magic. Once you destroy the device that generates magic, or the magic core, it can be destroyed. But it's difficult to destroy the core if the core is inside the golem, so you needed to cut the magic supply. For example, if you attack the arm joint, it should cut the magic supply and everything below the arm should fall apart. In theory, that is. Elesis: And now I know it's not as easy as they say. Elesis dodged the attack again. She was aiming for the gaps in the arms and the legs, but it didn't seem like it was working, as the golem would merely flinch. And that golem felt like a life form. Not in a sense that if could live and breathe, but in a sense that it was aware of it's opponent, and showed intent. Who created something like this and left it here? Elesis: King of Golems... Elesis muttered, when it suddently hit her. Elesis cried out, and straightened up. Elesis: Ah! I remember this from the founding king's story! But from her memory, what the founding king faced, wasn't a moving piece of rock created by a magician. A kind of necromancy that gives the soul the body of a golem, and the King of Golems that control it... The Lich King! Elesis shouted in joy! Elesis: So the monsters defeated by the founding king was n9ot just fantasy, but real? Elesis grabbed the sword again and changed her stance. Elesis: Now I know exactly where to attack!

Elesis: It was inside a strong monster. I brought it because it seemed important... Do you know what it is? Allegro: Wait, let me take a look. As Allegro carefully turned the gem around, his expression darkened. Allegro: No way... This... Looks like an El shard. Elesis: What? No. It could be similar, but it couldn't be. I should know, since I'm very familiar with Ruben's El. Allegro: Yes, it's different from an average El shard, but this... Looks like it corrupted the El shard with dark energy. It has some different properties. Allegro: How could this be... Is it because of the demonic energy of the Black Forest? Lento: I do not understand how, but this could be the reason for the monsters acting up in the Black Forest. Allegro: Perhaps. It may have different properties, but El shard has immense power. Lento: Are you leaving? Elesis: Yeah. Oh! Just in case... Could you keep it a secret that you saw me? Lento: Huh? Elesis: I only happened to 'pass by'. Right? Lento: But... Is that ok? You're the one who... Allegro: ... Ah. Allegro: I understand. Thank you for your cooperation, adventurer. Elesis: Haha! Yeah, thank you. Elesis: Ah, yes. This is a parting gift. Allegro: Huh? A gift...? Ah! Allegro caught the book Elesis threw. Allegro's arm lowered from the weight of the hefty book. Allegro: This... is the legend of the founding Elrian Kingdom...? Wait, this is the 1st edition! Elesis: Is that important? Anyway, it should be really helpful. It really helped me out in any case. Allegro: Huh? Oh... Thank you. Elesis: Now it's really time to... Oh right, I almost forgot. It should be somewhere around here... Lento: What's this? Elesis: It's nothing. My lieutenant wanted me to give you this. Elesis: Ok, I really got to go. Bye! As they watched Elesis leave, Allegro turned to Lento to ask. Allegro: Do you know the lieutenant of the Red Knights? Lento: No, not at all... Lento opened the envelope to read. His eyes followed the content of the letter. He looked confused even after finishing the letter, rereading, and checking the back to see if there's anything he missed. Curious, Allegro decided to ask. Allegro: What's in the letter that's giving you that face? Lento: It say... Good job and our efforts will pay off in various ways. Lento: That's... it. Nothing important. Does it have a hidden message...? Allegro just laughed awkwardly, looking at Lento wondering with a serious expression. Allegro: Haha... Maybe. But if anything's hidden... Allegro: There might be a cause. After taking care of one thing, Elesis felt lighter. Elesis stretched her arms as she continued walking. Elesis: I'm still slightly worried... But I did warn them, so it should be fine for a while. Elesis: Now, time to check Shadow Forest. I can go home for the first time in a while as well. Elesis: I wonder how Elsword is doing? He wouldn't have slacked off while I'm gone, so I wonder how much he improved? Elesis stretched again and headed to Ruben. She was not yet aware that her brother's adventure already began, and that this was the beginning of a long journey.
