They were so hopeless, I would have died out of frustration if I did not meddle! Lithia: And Vera! I thought she could be a merchant's daughter. She seemed sheltered despite having rough hands... It's bad for you. Lithia: Oh, Mathi. How can it be bad when it smells like money! Mathi: Don't forget! We're only here for a BRIEF preliminary investigation. (STEP, STEP, STEP...) (VRRR...) Lithia: Hm?! Was that...? Mathi: ... Whoa, there's a magical barrier installed. Lithia: Ooooh! All the treasures must still be intact if the defense mechanism is still functioning properly! Lithia: Huhu... I wonder what kind of goodies there are. Mathi: Hold on. ... ... ... It's not a curse. I think it was installed to prevent people from entering. Lithia: But we made it in just fine. Lithia: Doth thou not seeth the long vertical passage way! If mine suspicions be true, 'tis likely to be a trap! Lithia: If thou value thy life, thou shall proceed with utmost caution! Mathi: I get it, you can drop the weird act now. Lithia: You don't believe me? Watch. (CLICK) (SWISH!) Mathi: Ack!? Mathi: There was a pressure plate on the floor? How did you know? Lithia: Just a hunch. A long path forces certain kind of action. You need to either take the path, or go around it. Lithia: That's why you set a trap somewhere like this to present a real threat for trespassers. It's been like this everywhere I go! Mathi: Ugh... Thanks for the warning. I'll make a not of that as well. The passage near the entrance... trap... Lithia: I'll lead the way, baby Mathi! Follow my lead!

This has to be a tomb for some wealthy merchant! Lithia: He must have hired magicians to install barriers and traps to protect mountains of treasure and reics! Lithia: Gold, jewels, relics! What ever you are, come to mama! Heheheh! Heheheheheh! Mathi: This is no time to laugh! Say it is a tomb for some wealthy merchant. Mathi: That means there could be something dangerous right ahead to stop the tomb raiders. Mathi: Even if you do manage to find something, it's probably cursed. I know someone in the family who carelessly touched an ancient artifact... Lithia: Oh? Is this the same idiot who fell for the tried and true 'mana amplifier' trick? Mathi: I, I was young back then! How long are you planning on bringing it up? Mathi: Anyway, it's too dangerous! Let's go back. We did enough investigation. ???: (Ugh, uugh, uuuh...) Lithia: Huh? Do you hear something?
