Breaking through into the next layer of the Abyss, the group find diverging leads, the faint traces of El energy Chung's compass points toward and the distressed claw marks left behind by Vasili. The group decide to split up.

Can I have a moment? Rena: Hm? Sure. Raven: Are you feeling alright? You're not dizzy? Rena: Oh! I'm feeling alright. Were you worried because of what happened earlier? It's fine. Raven: Good. Raven: Since you always seemed to struggle in the Demon Realm... I thought you might be pushing yourself to look fine, even if you were having a hard time. Rena: Ah... Raven: I'm glad that's not the case. I apologize for meddling. Rena: Oh... No. Thanks for your concern... Rena: ....... Ain: (The trail... It's definitely still going. But...) Zero: It could be the Dark El, or another similar energy source, or a creature... Or none of the mentioned. Elsword: And that data doesn't give a straight answer? Add: If you wanted answers to fall on your lap, you should have bought a magic 8 ball. Add: Data is just a collection of information. You need human analysis and judgement to use them in any meaningful way. Ara: Analysis and judgement... Raven: The energy Ain and Eve sensed is the opposite direction of where we're headed. Ara: But... It's not too out of place. Ran did have the shell of El. Maybe that's what Ain sensed? Rose: It must be the reason Chung's compass pointed to the Abyss as well. Aisha: True. You're right... But then why is it coming from the opposite side of where Vasili headed? Didn't Vasili chase Ran? Chung: ... What if Ran went separate ways from the shell? Elesis: That's possible, but why would he do that? It's beneficial for him to hold on to it.
